Hey,  I'm Carina!

*Carina will be accepting clients starting in September*

My name is Carina Morina. I am a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) and have spent the last seven years walking alongside adolescents and their families as they navigate the complex world of mental health—especially the painful realities of eating disorders and the tough questions of identity that often surface in the teen years. My clinical experience has ranged from nonprofit community practice and residential eating disorder programs to wilderness and substance-use treatment settings, giving me a 360-degree view of the challenges today’s youth face.

How I work- I tailor every session to the person in front of me, blending evidence-based approaches—such as CBT, DBT, ACT, Reality Therapy, and Experiential Therapy—with a holistic lens. My work is trauma-informed, recognizing how past wounds often shape present patterns in both mind and body. Whether addressing disordered eating, emotional dysregulation, or identity struggles, I help teens, youth, and their families explore the deeper roots of their experiences while building practical tools for healing.

Together, we look not only at thoughts and behaviors, but also at lifestyle foundations like nutrition, sleep, movement, social connection and relationships. By integrating mind-body practices and nervous system regulation, I support adolescents in reclaiming safety within themselves and developing healthier, more empowered ways of engaging with the world.

Faith-Sensitive Care- For clients who desire it, I offer Christian/ Biblical counseling that weaves scripture and prayer into the therapeutic process. Whether or not faith is part of your journey, you can expect a space that honors your values and cultivates genuine, judgment-free connection. My Why- I believe every person is created with inherent worth, purpose, and the capacity to grow beyond their circumstances. Therapy should be authentic, collaborative, and—even in hard moments—filled with hope.

If you’re looking for integrative, evidence-based support for an eating disorder or other adolescent mental-health concern, I’d be honored to support you and your family on the journey toward healing and lasting change.

I accent Aetna, Cigna, and UHC insurance. My cash fee is $150 per session. I am able to provide a superbill that you can submit to insurance. I cannot guarantee reimbursement from your insurance.
